Additional Flu Resources

The flu (caused by the influenza virus) makes an appearance each year in communities. The good news is that you can help prevent the spread of illness by getting your flu shot.

Don’t let the flu knock you off your game this flu season.

Here are a few ways to protect yourself and your family from the flu and other viral illnesses (like COVID-19):

  • Get your flu shot. It’s the best defense against the flu virus.
  • Wash your hands often or use alcohol-based hand sanitizers when soap and water are unavailable.
  • Wear a face-covering mask in public that covers your nose and mouth. Masks should be made of three layers or N-95 for best coverage. Cloth masks offer little protection against newer strains of COVID-19.
  • Keep a safe distance (6 feet) between you and other people not living in your home.

Where can I get a flu shot?

Get your flu shot from your primary care provider (PCP) or a pharmacy near you. Shots are available at little or no cost to you through your health plan. Find an in-network pharmacy or doctor by signing into Blueprint Portal and search.
