Schools, universities, government agencies and nonprofit groups around the state could receive funds to further the important work they’re doing in their communities. The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas will begin accepting mini grant applications January 1, 2022.

Blue & You Foundation awards $3.36 million to Arkansas Organizations
The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas announced today 41 initiatives in Arkansas will receive grants totaling $3,360,327, that will directly impact 71 of Arkansas’ 75 counties. The Blue & You Foundation is a charitable foundation established and funded by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield to promote better health in the Natural State.
Arkansas Blue Cross supports behavioral health programs in Arkansas
The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas announced today $5.29 million in grants for behavioral health programs in Arkansas. This investment is focused on eight Arkansas programs led by six established organizations that will address the growing behavioral health crisis in the state. To meet the unique needs of Arkansans, the grants support programs that address behavioral health needs at all stages of life – from early childhood through adolescence, and into adulthood – along with helping to increase the number of behavioral health professionals serving our communities.
Arkansas Blue Cross supports Southeast Arkansas COVID-19 Vaccination Education
The Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas has awarded $214,100 to the UAMS FAITH Network and the Arkansas Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Association (AMDPA) to train and provide resources to faith-based organizations in Southeast Arkansas to help educate residents about the COVID-19 vaccinations. The Arkansas Department of Health’s Office of Faith-based Outreach will also offer support in these efforts. The purpose of this grassroots outreach and educational effort is to address vaccine hesitancy and encourage vaccination acceptance.
