Emergency assistance extended for members affected by recent storms
Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield and its family of companies are extending assistance made available to members impacted by the March 31 storms in Arkansas.
Counseling Services
Access to a dedicated crisis line has been extended through April 24 for members who may need emotional support. Members may call 1-833-848-1766 or 1-833-848-1764 toll free to speak with a licensed clinical professional 24/7, at no cost to the member.
“The cleanup and rebuilding process is still in the early stages,” said Curtis Barnett, Arkansas Blue Cross president and CEO. “Families devastated by the storms are now facing many difficult decisions, such as where to live and how to replace precious items lost. At Arkansas Blue Cross, we believe helping members maintain good mental health during this time is very important.”
Prescriptions
Impacted members covered by Arkansas Blue Cross, Health Advantage or BlueAdvantage Administrators of Arkansas (who use its prescription drug benefits with CVS Caremark) can also obtain a one-time, 10-day emergency refill on maintenance medications.

Lost ID Card
If a member has lost an ID card, an electronic ID can be downloaded using the Blueprint Portal Mobile app, which can be found in the app store or Google Play.
