David Jacobson


David Jacobson leads development and execution of strategies and initiatives with healthcare providers, community organizations, advocates and state officials for managed Medicaid reforms. He works with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to help design and offer new programs to improve the health and quality of life for people who are covered by state programs. David has worked on healthcare strategic marketing for over 20 years with national experience encompassing all aspects of health insurance, managed care and pharmacy benefit management including successfully developing and implementing strategic plans, business development, marketing strategies, product development, operational implementation and financial planning. He specializes in government programs and healthcare reform. He has expertise with Medicaid managed care, Medicare and commercial health plans and care coordination for special needs populations including the chronically ill, aged, disabled and long-term services and supports. David received his bachelor's degree in marketing and finance from the California State University, Long Beach, and his master's in business administration from the Peter F. Drucker Graduate Management School at Claremont Graduate University.
