Dan Bloodworth

Biography

Dan Bloodworth is responsible for the planning and coordination of risk-sharing arrangement development throughout the state of Arkansas. Dan joined Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 1988 as an auditor in the Medicare program. He moved to Corporate Accounting for several years before becoming manager of operations for USAble Administrators of Arkansas in 1997. In 2000, he became financial coordinator of Government Programs and in 2001 he was promoted to manager of Medicare Financial Services. Pinnacle Business Solutions, Inc., (PBSI) was formed in 2004 to administer the Public Programs operations of Arkansas Blue Cross. Dan was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer of PBSI in 2005 and, in 2011, he was named president and chief executive officer. Dan transitioned to his current role within the enterprise upon the dissolution of PBSI at the end of 2013. A native of Camden, Dan graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in business administration/accounting.
