Brett Trelfa

Brett Trelfa serves as senior vice president and chief information officer for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, where he has responsibility for leading Information Technology and Information Security strategies. Trelfa joined Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield in 2020 with 16 years of health insurance technology experience, having served as vice president and CIO for Humana's Medicare and Medicaid segment. He also served as a technology leader at General Motors, ThyssenKrupp North America, and CriTech Research. A native of Alpena, Mich., Trelfa is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He received his bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Michigan and his master's degree in Information Systems Management at Carnegie Mellon University.
