Sarah Wang named director of Quality Programs for Arkansas Blue Cross
Little Rock, Ark. (December 29, 2020) — Sarah Wang has been promoted to director of Quality Programs for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
In this new role, Wang will lead the HEDIS® (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) audit team, the Quality Programs teams for the Federal Employee Program (FEP) and health insurance marketplace health plans and the URAC (Utilization Review Accreditation Commission) accreditation team.
Wang began her career with Arkansas Blue Cross in 2011 as a medical informatics analyst and has served in several other roles – most recently as manager of Medical Informatics Research & Development.
Wang holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Lyon College in Batesville and a master’s degree in public health in epidemiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. She and her husband, Tony, and their two sons live in Little Rock.
