Little Rock, Ark. (March 20, 2014) — Odell Nickelberry has joined Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield as the director of Human Resources, according to Richard Cooper, vice president of Human Resources for Arkansas Blue Cross.
Nickelberry is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of Human Resources policy and procedures for Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He also offers strategic oversight for improvement of the company’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters. Nickelberry has more than 20 years experience in Human Resources. Prior to joining Arkansas Blue Cross, he held personnel positions at Abbott Laboratories, Cardinal Health and URS Corporation.
Nickelberry earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Ill. He earned his master’s degree in human resource development from Edgewood College in Madison, Wis. He is the president-elect of the Human Resource Management Association (HRMA) Board of Directors.
