Little Rock, Ark. (July 26, 2012) —Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield invites
families to have fun at its Blue Beach Party from 9 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, July 28,
at ArkansasBlue, Arkansas’ first health insurance store. And as part of the festivities,
some lucky person will take away two tickets to the sold-out Justin Bieber concert
coming to Little Rock January 10, 2013, compliments of Radio Disney.
The Blue Beach Party is a health-and-fitness event designed for families. Adults and kids can get moving and play games with Radio Disney outside the ArkansasBlue store, then cool down with a tasty shaved ice and make their own lei inside the store. Beach partygoers can enjoy other refreshments, register for door prizes and pick up a complimentary bottle of sunscreen … and, of course, register for the Bieber concert tickets.
“We are excited to host the Blue Beach Party at ArkansasBlue” said Sara Harris, ArkansasBlue team lead. “It is the second of three events we are hosting this summer as part of our ‘Red, White and ArkansasBlue Challenge’ family fun focus. From now until September 15, moms and dads can pick up a special calendar and stickers and participate in health and safety activities with their children. It’s a great teaching opportunity with easy-to-achieve goals and rewards that can lead to chances to win great grand prizes. Our goal with this promotion is to encourage families to stay active and safe this summer.
“Radio Disney will be our special guest at the Blue Beach Party and will certainly provide
some great activities for kids, culminating with a drawing for two tickets to the Justin
Blue Beach Party activities are free and open to the public from 9 a.m until Noon. Activities, crafts and snacks are available while supplies last.
