Arkansas Blue Cross PPO
Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield has been providing health insurance coverage
to Arkansas public school employees and their families since 1979.
The health-care coverage you select is a very important decision. Today more than
65,000 public school employees and dependents have their health-care coverage with
Arkansas Blue Cross and its affiliate company, Health Advantage.
We understand the importance of having local access to customer service and case
management services for you and your family. If you need to walk in and speak with
someone regarding claims or health services, we are there to help you, with
local offices in Texarkana, Little Rock, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Fort Smith,
Pine Bluff and Fayetteville. These local offices provide services to all the counties
within their region.
In addition to the in-state benefits, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield members
have coverage if traveling or if you have dependents that reside or attend school
in another state. The national Blue Cross network keeps you and your family covered
with BlueCard® access. For nationwide and international coverage under these plans,
