Formulary Search

Our formularies are lists of drugs covered by Medi-Pak Rx (PDP) prescription drug plans.

The formulary may change during the year. Medi-Pak Rx covers both brand name drugs and generic drugs. Generic drugs have the same active-ingredient formula as a brand name drug. Generic drugs usually cost less than brand name drugs and are rated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be as safe and effective as brand name drugs.

The formularies cover all classes of drugs, but not necessarily all drugs within a class. For example, a formulary might have medicines that treat high blood pressure, but it might not have the specific drug your doctor prescribed for you. Check with your doctor to see if switching medications is an option for you.

Check the formularies to make sure your prescriptions are covered. Even if you don't see your prescription listed, call Medi-Pak Rx (PDP) to find out if there may be a suitable alternative available.
