Leann Rogers works closely with health-care providers in the 11 counties within the Southwest Region and into Northeast Texas to ensure members receive coverage for health-care services close to home. Headquartered in Texarkana, the Arkansas counties within the region include Calhoun, Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada, Ouachita, Sevier and Union. In her role as regional executive, Rogers leads a 22-member regional team, which is focused on customer service, sales and marketing, medical management and provider services for the Southwest Region and Northeast Texas. Previously, Rogers served as regional executive for the South Central Region and as marketing manager for the Southeast Region. Rogers joined Arkansas Blue Cross in 1995 as a marketing representative in the Southeast Region. Rogers was a staff accountant with BKD, LLP, and a financial specialist with Jefferson Regional Medical Center prior to joining Arkansas Blue Cross. A native of Bradley, Rogers received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and received certification from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School Senior Executives Institute. She is a certified public accountant.
