Bill Brown is responsible for 17 counties in NE Arkansas, plus all provider contracting in the Memphis, Tenn. area.
Bill joined Blue Cross in 1987 as a sales representative. He and his family moved to Jonesboro in 1995 with the creation of
the Northeast Regional Office. He assumed the role of regional executive in 1998. A native of Augusta, Brown attended the
University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He is an LUTC graduate and received his Certified Health Consultant designation
from the Blue Cross Association in 1991. Brown completed ‘The Executive Program’ at Darden University in 2005. He is a member
of Central Baptist Church, Jonesboro University Rotary Club, Greater Jonesboro Chamber of commerce, Society of the Honor Guard,
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, U.S. Army Special Forces Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Ryu Kyu Shaolin Shakai
Karate and Kobudo Association.
