David Greenwood has executive responsibility for the business component that manages data intelligence activities at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield and affiliates including the aggregation, storage and analysis of enterprise data. Enterprise Business Intelligence was established in response to the rising demand for rapid access to high-quality, uniformly-governed data and the reporting built from that data. The emphasis of the new EBI area will be on managing the enterprise’s data assets so that users of historical data can increase their efficiency in serving customers’ needs by being able to access, understand, and rely on the data they need. Greenwood has been with Arkansas Blue Cross since 1988 with positions including auditor, manager of Medicare program/joint venture accounting and director of enterprise underwriting. David is a graduate of Arkansas State University, is a certified public accountant with a MBA in Management from Webster University.
