Application systems programming includes performance in the areas of analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of system projects.
Level 1
1. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university (pref. degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.) and prior experience in Applications Systems Programming Design and Analysis with emphasis in the areas of Cobol, Java, Unix, mainframe and/or Oracle
or
Experience in Applications Systems Programming Design and Analysis with emphasis in the areas of Cobol, Java, Unix, mainframe and/or Oracle
2. Experience with the FISS OR MCS system. Related application programming experience in a mainframe or Unix environment may be substituted.
Level 2

3. Must have participated in large scale projects with heavy user interfacing. Successful completion of the projects (e.g. implementation, problem resolution and user satisfaction) must be shown.
