Application Systems Programming includes performance in the areas of analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of system projects.
Level 1:
1. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university (pref. degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.) with an emphasis in the area of PC-based programming.
Or prior experience in Applications Systems Programming Design and Analysis with emphasis in the area of PC-based programming.
2. Experience with SQL Server or DB2. Related application programming experience in other SQL environments may be substituted.
3. Experience using desktop PC, Outlook e-mail, basic MS Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel).
4. Preference will be given to candidates who have healthcare related experience.
5. Preference will be given to candidates who have Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan experience.
6. Qualified applicants need to take these programming tests in HR: (1) SQL Server 2005 Programming and (2) Visual Basic.NET.
Level 2:
1. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university (pref. degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.) and prior experience in Applications Systems Programming Design and Analysis with emphasis in the area of PC-based programming.
