POS Plans (Point of Service)
With a POS plan, employers have greater predictability on out-of-pocket costs. Most of these benefit package designs are “copayment driven,” which means employees would have copayments when they visit a doctor or go to a hospital. A POS plan differs from a traditional HMO plan as members may seek specialty services without a referral and have coverage for out-of-network services. The POS Plans are offered through our affiliate company, Health Advantage, the largest HMO in Arkansas.
